ACCOMMODATION CRISIS - IS THE GOVERNMENT BEING UNFAIR?
An article and video from the television program of 'Today Tonight' explains how public housing is beginning to become a big crisis all across Australia.

Even though the video was posted a year ago, this is still, unfortunately, a major issue in our country and society.

Families all across Australia can't afford to live in proper homes - they are being forced to live in hotels (they still need to pay for accomodation) or even in the street.

But, there are thousands of government homes in Australian that are unoccupied and there is an overwhelming amount of Australians on the waiting list for one of these homes!

A mother and her five-year-old son have been forced to live in a tent because they cannot find a suitable and affordable accomodation to stay in, and yet they have not been greatly supported by the government - or anyone!

The number of homeless families in Australia is overwhelming, but the government isn't doing much about it. People such as the mother feel that the government isn't being very supportive and is being 'unfair' to those who can't find and afford a proper home to live in.

Is the government being unfair? There are thousands of homes that are empty and it looks as if they won't be occupied for a while. What should be done?
