COKE MINI-CANS: Social responsibility or an excuse for more profit?
Coca-cola is a massive multi-national corporation, known primarily for selling sugary drinks. The company claims to be leading a drive for social responsibility and reducing obesity: www.coca-colajourney.com.au/our-commitments-to-help-address-obesity/?gclid=CNDHzZqP47oCFYPrpAod5D...

One of its initiatives is to offer smaller cans of its leading high calorie drinks, claiming this will help reduce the amount people drink. However, in supermarkets it is targeting mothers who are aware of the high sugar content and are attracted to the samller cans.

BUT.... Coca-cola is selling the small cans at the same price as the larger ones, thus making more money.

What do you think? Is Coca-cola being responsible and soclally aware - or is it simply wanting product differentiation, a new market and more money?
What do you think is Coca-Cola's main motive?
