Creating [United] Nations

A YouTube Video explaining the formation of the Israeli state...

In 1948, the UN, in conjunction with the British (who controlled the land), the State of Israel was created within British Palestine. This followed on from a piece of British legislation in 1922 which first brought about the idea of a Jewish Homeland. The Holocaust and great suffering of Jewish people in and before WWII accelerated the idea, with Australian Dr H. Evatt chairing the UN Palestine Commission. Israel and the idea of a Jewish State clashed directly with the thousands of Arab people who had lived happily in Palestine for centuries. This is a highly controversial event, with countless wars and violence over the sovereignty of Israel and Palestine, and different countries taking sides with one entity or the other. The UN was also instrumental with the creation of South Sudan, showing their willingness to create states. Should they have this right, even at the possible expense of people living there already?
It is proposed that the United Nations should have the power to create states
