Dairy Farms are Polluting our Rivers
Fresh water is becoming the most important resource in the world, and one of the main sources for water is our local rivers. Lately the rivers have been polluted a lot more than usual, and this is due to the increase in Nitrogen in them. There are a few culprits to this dilemma but the finger is mainly being pointed at the dairy farmers. The urine from cows is very high in Nitrogen and throughout the years is slowly soaks through the soil into the rivers polluting them, making them undrinkable.
