Facebook. The world's most popular social network. It is the No.1 ranked website and has over 500 million members. 526 million people access it every day and it captivates people. But, there is a dark side: many people use Facebook inappropriately, and can upload pictures, or write statements on the website, that may shed light on the sort of person they are. Many employers today check the Facebook profiles of people they are thinking of employing. This can have positive effects on the company, as it means that they don't employ people who may have a shady past. However, it can have hugely negative effects on those who are rejected because of something they wrote on their profile when they were 16.
