Karl Marx is widely regarded as the inventor of socialism. Could many of today's problems have been averted had he not existed? It is quite possible. His teachings resulted in the spread of communism, which lead to the Russian Revolution and the Cold War. The Cold War can be linked to much of the suffering in developing countries, where the US and USSR 'battled' for influence and resulted in the backing of oppressive regimes. Could this have been averted without socialism and communism?
It is proposed that Karl Marx should have been killed in order to prevent his teachings spreading, which could be linked to many of the world's problems.
