People suffering in sweatshops
Often, you can buy ordinary clothing for very cheap prices e.g. from Big W. But thousands of people are suffering in sweatshops in India and various other countries and earn less than $1 per hour to make these clothes. This varies throughout different countries but the working conditions are harsh and work days are long. Child labor is wide spread through out sweat shops located in India, Mexico and China and many others. People are forced to work due to poverty, meaning that they would not have enough money to sustain themselves and their families if they would not work. Although some countries have banned sweatshops, the government can not do much about it because it would mean thousands of homeless and jobless people starving to death. Children working in sweatshops do not have the chance to go to school when they should; the human right #26. What do you think about this? Do you have a solution?
