MP3s, one of the BIGGEST used media formats around the world. With popular songs by famous artists like Lady Gaga, you would go to a music store and pay for the downloadable content. Unless you have iTunes or doubleTwist and more music/ media programs, they would have their own store.
Then, came intelligence, and thus one person set up a website, which he would put up his MP3s he's paid for, for free download. This is usually illegal unless the owner of the music gives permission. Now, FBI or some agency would've shut down his website, but now, distributing MP3s has become such a big thing, the amount of downloadable media content available outnumbers the entire population of the human species.
Because of this, the artists do not get the amount money they deserve, and people can put the free content onto their CDs, iPod's, iPhones, computers, or music players memory, making a free getaway.
It is proposed that MP3s and other media that is downloadable via the internet should be banned and removed from the internet, unless it is paid for or the 'distributer' has been given permission to do so.
